KA1 courses

Booking terms

These terms apply to every booking for an Akadimos KA1 course in Veria, for Erasmus+ projects and for self-funded participants. They are short on purpose. If anything is unclear, ask us before you book.

1. Who we are

The course provider is AKADIMOS KDVM EPE, a licensed lifelong learning and vocational training centre (EOPPEP 2000497), Edessis 17, 59132 Veria, Greece. OID E10228854, PIC 912790953. Contact: eu@akadimoskek.gr, +30 2331 120342.

2. How booking works

  1. You send a booking request on our website or by email. This does not create any obligation to pay.
  2. Within one working day we reply with our confirmation, the agreement and the course documents. Your booking is made when we send this confirmation.
  3. You pay the full fee by bank transfer before the course, by the date in the agreement. We issue the invoice on the day your payment arrives.
  4. Your place is final when we receive your payment. Please book your travel only after that.

If your Erasmus+ grant is not approved yet, we keep your request on file and confirm your place when you tell us the grant is approved.

3. Course fee and payment

  • The course fee is 400 € per person for a five-day course (80 € a day, the Erasmus+ course-fee rate).
  • The fee includes teaching, course materials, the certificate of attendance and support with Europass Mobility and your Learning Agreement.
  • The fee does not include travel, accommodation, meals, insurance, visits or social activities.
  • Payment is by bank transfer only. Bank charges are paid by the sender.
  • If payment has not arrived by that date, we may release the place. We always contact you first.

4. Name changes

If a participant cannot travel, you can send a colleague instead, at any time and at no cost. Just tell us the new name before the course starts.

5. Refunds

Once your booking is confirmed, the course fee is not refundable. If a participant cannot travel, you can send a colleague instead, at no cost (see section 4).

6. Guaranteed to run

Every course week in our calendar runs. If an event outside our control (for example a natural disaster, a strike or an official travel ban) makes it impossible to hold the course, we agree with you in writing on new course dates. We are not responsible for travel or accommodation costs in that case, so we recommend travel insurance.

7. Programme

We may make small changes to the programme, the timetable or the trainers. The content, the number of teaching hours and the learning outcomes stay the same.

8. Certificate

At the end of the course you receive a certificate of attendance with the hours and the learning outcomes, and we complete your Europass Mobility document with you. The certificate reflects the sessions you attended.

9. Your responsibilities

  • Travel documents, visas if needed, and insurance (including health insurance or your European Health Insurance Card).
  • Your own travel and accommodation bookings.
  • Telling us in advance about any access, health or dietary needs that matter for the course, so we can plan around them.

10. Liability

We are responsible for delivering the course as described. We are not responsible for loss of or damage to personal belongings, or for costs caused by events outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Greek or EU law.

11. Questions and complaints

Write to eu@akadimoskek.gr. We reply within one working day and try to solve any problem quickly and fairly.

12. Law

These terms are governed by Greek law. Personal data is handled as described in our privacy policy.

Questions about these terms? Write to eu@akadimoskek.gr before you book.
